I hate wasting food, and if there’s one thing I’m known for and that is recycling left overs and giving them a new life. Today is rescue Pita day!! I made Pita bread last week, maybe I got carried away and thought my 65 pitas would all be consumed, but I’m still left with a dozen. Since I don’t want them to go bad, I grabbed my kitchen scissors and started cutting triangle shapes, and then drizzle some olive oil and sprinkle with a little dried oregano, salt and pepper. Bake in a preheated oven (375 F) for about 10-13 minutes or until the chips are toasted and golden brown in colour. Store at room temperature in a glass tightly sealed container or jar.
